Maymont Morning

Misty morning at Maymont. A cool beginning for a hot day. Maymont Park, Swan Lake, The Japanese Garden the Mansion, the pergola. Truly an amazing place. One morning I was close to the pergola painting and I heard three beautiful voices singing. I went quietly, sat down and was entertained  for half an hour. When they finished I spoke with one of their mothers and said basically wow. I asked the reason and the mother said singing in the pergola was the only thing her daughter wanted for her sixteenth birthday.
