Description of Down the Hill at Maymont Park
It was fall. It was chilly and the sun was setting and I had to leave the park before dark. Makes me cold just thinking about it. As an addendum I will confess to reworking this picture slightly. It probably only matters to me the slight changes and I guess I am like Degas. Collectors and friends would invite him to dinner and hide his pictures because he was famous for saying” let me take this picture with me as I see a couple of things I need to do to it”. Apparently history says he never returned any number of them. I never ask for them back but they are not allowed to leave until I am certain they are finished.
